School Counseling and Guidance

Guidance Main Page Image

Hello, my name is Jana Clenney and I am the MCES Counselor. I received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Social Work from Troy University and a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. I began my counseling career as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency in 2002. In 2011, I decided I wanted to work in the school systems where I could work with kids of all ages to help them navigate their way through this thing we call life. I became a Certified School Counselor and started at MCES in 2011. Every day presents a new challenge and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As Counselor of the MCES, I am here to assist all students academically, socially and assisting them in making connections with the world of work and learning about life. I also want to be a resource for parents and help in any way I can. Please contact me at 758-4140 or email me at jclenney@miller.k12.ga.us if you would like to make an appointment to see me.

Ms. Jana Clenney
