Welcome to Mrs. Brittany's 3rd Grade Class!

Hi, my name is Brittany Bowen and this is my 7th year teaching math at Miller County Elementary. I have a passion for teaching and I love to see my students' faces light up when they learn something new. My hope is that every child will have a wonderful learning experience and strive to be the best student that he/she can be! Your child's education and well being are in my best interest, and I will do what it takes to ensure that they get the most out of their 3rd grade year.

This year we are going to learn so much. Students are going to learn place value, how to add and subtract larger digits, strategies to learn multiplication facts, area and perimeter, fractions, geometry, and all about the different types of graphs. We are going to have an exciting year!

Bachelors of Science Degree: Albany State University

I earned my gifted endorsement in March 2014.

Awards: Dean's List, Certificate of Academic Greatness, (2) Certificates of Achievement, and graduated Cum Laude from Albany State University
