Welcome

About my job as an educator

I am a special education co-teacher and case manager. Co-teaching means that I, along with the general education teacher, are both in the class teaching or providing support. I also have a case load of students 1st through 5th grade that have tested eligible for special education services. I track, and monitor the students on my caseload daily.

My bio

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attended Appalachian State University for my undergraduate studies, and Troy University for my graduate program. I began my teaching career in the high school, co-teaching and managing high school students. Last year was my first year in elementary school, and I have found my home! I adore my job and especially our students. I am married and have a son that is in Kindergarten at Miller County, his name is William and he is the light of my life!
