 Principal's Bio

Greetings! My name is Elizabeth Crawford and I am honored to be the elementary school principal. Originally, from South Carolina, I moved to Georgia as a teenager. With Decatur County roots, I began my teaching career at West Bainbridge Elementary School after receiving my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. After teaching for 3 years, I moved on to Grady County, where I spent 16 years teaching elementary school in various capacities. I have a M.S. in Administration and Supervision from Albany State University, Ed.S. from Nova Southeastern University in Instructional Leadership and an Ed.D from Capella University in Educational Leadership and Management. Six years ago, I began my tenure in Miller County. My daughter, Maggie Elizabeth, is a senior at Miller County High School! We are both proud to be Pirates!!
