LIBRARY
Welcome to our Media Center!
The media center is home to over 16,000 books, videos, computers, and other materials. These are available for the use of all students for reading, studying, and research.
Mrs. Sarah Benefield and Mrs. Melody Houston are excited to see all students in the library this year. Reading is fun!
Our
library uses the Atriuum library automation system and has an online
search engine. Library patrons may search for any book in our library
collection from any Internet connected computer. Searches may be done by
book title, author's name, subject, key word, AR or Lexile levels.

Checking Out Books:
Students in grades 2-5 may check out two books at a time for a period of two weeks. Kindergarten and first grade students may check out one book at a time.
1-5 grade classes come weekly to the library, so students may return books early to check out new books.
Students 2-5 have been assigned AR levels to read, and it is best if their library books are within these levels. If the books are not within the assigned level, students may not get credit for the book.
Take care of our media center!
Please remember that it is important to take care of library books so that others can enjoy them as well. Please refer to the student handbook for our policy on damaged and lost books.
We do not charge overdue fees. However, students will not be allowed to check out a new book until they have returned or paid for overdue books.
Holds will be placed on report cards for overdue books.
